Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does an adjustment hurt?

A: It depends. The act of the adjustment is never meant to "hurt" it is only meant to add motion to a joint that cannot move and to put a bone back in it's correct place.  An overwhelming majority of patients feel immediate pain relief, increase in range of motion and ease of tension, but some patients can experience slight tightness or tension.  This goes away within a few hours.

Q: How do I know if I need an adjustment?

A: Hard to tell.  After a complete and thorough analysis, the doctor will instruct you on how to move forward and if you are in need of an adjustment.  Most people DO need regular chiropractic adjustments due to the constant stress and pressure we put on our bodies every day.

Q:  What is the best type of mattress for my spine?

Everyone is different, but the mattress I recommend for most people is s coil and memory foam hybrid.  This type of mattress will keep its integrity, is firm, but comfortable and will conform to the shape of your body and spine.  I recommend Saatva Mattress.  If you use the link below you cm take a quiz to find out which mattress is best for you as well as receiving a discount!
